In a nutshell: The VFW is a nonprofit veterans service organization comprised of eligible veterans and military service members from the active, Guard and Reserve forces. The VFW and its Auxiliary are dedicated to veterans service, legislative advocacy, and military and community service programs.

The Tellico Village VFW Post 12135 was formed to provide assistance to veterans in need, their families, community service, patriotic programs and education services within Loudon County and other areas as needed.

As you may well imagine, it takes a lot of money to provide this support. From a $25 tank of gas to help a vet get to her job, to a $4000 PTSD therapy program and a Patriotic essay scholarship program in our local schools: all are worthy of our support and important to the recipients.

YOU provide us with the means to deliver this support. From direct donations to our post to Buddy Poppy donations; from event sponsorship to tournament entry fees and admission ticket purchases,YOU enable us to assist and remember veterans wherever we can identify a need.

Won’t you consider sending us a check for whatever amount you can – it will be greatly appreciated by the members of VFW Post 12135 and by the veterans and families we endeavor to help.
