Gatlinburg Still Needs Help
Gatlinburg Still Needs Help
Comrades,
As discussed at last night’s regular post meeting, the need for volunteers to help with supply distribution for victims of the Gatlinburg fire is still great but the numbers of volunteers are falling.
There are any number of opportunities available to help the distribution center in Pigeon Forge. The shifts are 4 hours and they ask that you arrive 30 minutes prior to your shift.
Mick Gardner has offered to organize a post effort and requests that you contact him to assist. His information is listed below:
I suggest we sign up for the 11am-3pm shift on either Wednesday 2/1 or Thursday 2/2 (or both). That would allow for travel time, leave 9am and get home 5pm. It would be a full day but get us home for dinner.
Please contact Mick to sign up and to get more information (Mick is listed in the TV Directory)
Lets go help our neighbors!
I’m available for Tuesday 2-2-2017. I would like to ride with someone.
Thanks John, I have forwarded your offer to Mick
