Joint Operation in Knox County
I received the following information from Senator Corker’s outreach department this morning:
Dear Mr. Norman,
I wanted to let you know about an exciting opportunity exclusively for Tennessee veterans. Joint Operation is an event to provide veterans and their families with a ‘one-stop shop’ to connect with local resources and get the help they need. This free event is open to all Tennessee veterans and their families and will feature more than 70 agencies and organizations with information on a number of resources, including: VA claim assistance, vocational rehabilitation, education, employment, mental health, housing, legal assistance and much more.
It will take place on Wednesday, July 19th from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Jacob Building at Chilhowee Park. Directions can be found at http://www.chilhoweepark.org.
Joint Operation is being organized with the help of U.S. Senator Lamar Alexander, U.S. Congressman Jimmy Duncan, Knoxville Mayor Madeline Rogero and Knox County Mayor Tim Burchett. We appreciate all of their support. Please contact our office at 865-637-4180 if you have any questions or need any further information.
Sincerely,
Jane Jolley
Field Director
Knoxville Office
U.S. Senator Bob Corker
